Washington State Political Items Collectors promotes a better world of collecting!
We are a Chapter of the American Political Items Collectors (APIC) and registered as a non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), in the State of Washington. Our objective is to encourage the collection, preservation, and study of political Americana, including tokens, medals, buttons, badges, and all types of items pertaining to the election of Presidents of the United States of America, state and local governments. Many of our members also collect non-political buttons such as fairs, McDonald's, movie, advertising, sports, automobiles, military, Seafair and buttons pertaining to events and occasions. We welcome these collectors also.
We work together to make our cause known, and reach out to other individuals who share our hobby. Whether you’re ready to join or have something you may want to auction, buy, sell, share information about or trade, we can help you.
Whether you are a lifetime collector or new to the hobby, we invite you to join us. We welcome new ideas and value enthusiasm from members, old and new. We meet four (4) times a year and our schedule for 2014 is as follows: March 8, June 14, September 13, and December 13. We meet at Fire Station #9, 12412 Newcastle Way, Bellevue, WA 98006. Our show and sale (along with a brief business meeting) runs from 1 -3 PM. We offer free appraisals, vendor tables and admission. Everyone welcome. Feel free to contact us for additional information.
